Sometimes you need more support than a once a week talk therapy session, but are limited by common realities such as transportation, geography or time. Luckily, our Virtual IOP is an affordable, in network treatment option with licensed and credentialed experts providing excellent mental health care from the comfort of your own device.

Accessible Mental Health Support

Our virtual program offers the same wide-range of evidence-based methods as our in-person programs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), somatic experiencing, experiential therapy, mindfulness-based therapy and more.

Typically, treatment includes clients attending virtual therapy for 3 hours per day, 3 days per week for 8 to 12 weeks.

Group and individual therapy sessions are facilitated through a HIPAA compliant video conferencing software and scheduling is simple with convenient links accessible through our patient portal.

    Dr. Martha B. Koo, M.D., is the Medical Director and Clinical Supervisor. Dr. Koo completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and her medical training at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where she earned membership to the AOA and Sigma Xi Society for academic excellence. Dr. Koo obtained her psychiatry residency training at the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Institute at UCLA and her subsequent psychoanalytic training at the New Center for Psychoanalysis.

    She is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Board Certified in Addiction Medicine. For over twenty years Dr. Koo has enjoyed her private practice, providing outpatient psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and pharmacological treatment for individuals, couples and families. She is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association, the New Center for Psychoanalysis, the Clinical TMS Society, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, the California Psychiatric Society and the Southern California Psychiatric Society.

    Kelli Rae is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist and Primary Mental Health Residential Program Director. She earned her Masters of Clinical Psychology at Antioch University in 2022. Kelli previously worked as a volunteer and then a Counselor in the Primary Mental Health PHP/IOP for over two years. Her experience includes working with teens, adults, and individuals with primary mental health and substance use disorders. She is currently working towards full licensure.

    With a personal journey of mental wellness, Kelli is passionate and driven to pass on what she has learned to those that are struggling. She is a human being human amongst other humans – making mistakes, failing forward, and learning to love herself in the process.

    Kelli enjoys staying involved in her children’s school and extracurricular activities. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and children, attending concerts and music festivals, and gardening in her backyard.

    • What days/times is virtual IOP offered?

      At Clear, we’re proud to offer daytime and evening programs for our virtual IOP clients to make prioritizing your mental health as easy as possible.

      Our daytime virtual program includes 2 hours of synchronous programming on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, plus one additional hour each day that can be completed asynchronously (at your leisure!).

      Our evening virtual program includes 2 hours of synchronous programming on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional hour each day that can be completed asynchronously.

    • What if I’m a full-time student or employee?

      Our daytime and evening tracks, coupled with the convenience of virtual care, offer the highest level of scheduling flexibility. If you need extra time and space to focus on your wellbeing, our care team can guide you through your options for taking a paid or unpaid mental health leave of absence from work. Not to mention, we will handle all of the paperwork.

    • What about insurance?
